Controversial Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has moved to dismiss speculation linking him with a move away from Anfield.
The Uruguayan has been linked with a switch following his suspension for biting Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic last month.
Suarez won’t be available again for the Reds in the league until their seventh game of the new campaign, and with another controversial off-field incident hurting the club, there had been talk he would move on.
However, Suarez moved to quell the rumours.
“I have a deal with Liverpool and this is my present - and future,” Suarez told The Sun.
“From the day I arrived, I saw how special this derby is, so it is a pain to miss it.
“But we have a big squad which can function without me.”
