Arsenal will be travelling to Craven Cottage to play Fulham in the Barclays Premier League gameweek 33.
When: 3 pm local time, 20th April 2013 Where: Craven Cottage
Both the teams enter this game in contrasting form. Fulham have not managed to pick up a win in their last three outings, while on the other hand Arsenal has not lost a league game in their last five encounters.
Well it is not only recent form that is distinctly different but so is their league position. Arsenal goes into this game with a chance to temporarily go into third spot. Three points for Fulham will see them crack into the top half of the league into a possible ninth.
Even though this tie is an away game for the Gunners, they will be firm favourites to pick up the three points available.
Talisman Dimitar Berbatov holds the key to the Lillywhites performance as he has been in fine form. The huge Bulgarian has notched up 13 goals thus far and looks threatening enough to pick up some more.
Mark Schwarzer is quite competent and on his day can make the most unbelievable of saves. If Fulham want anything out of this game he needs to have a good 90 minutes.
Arsenal has been scoring quite a few goals recently with an average of just a shade above 2 goals a game in their last five. Olivier Giroud and Santi Cazorla both have been menacing, the former with his hard aerial play and the latter with his fine ball control.
Theo Walcott has had a good season thus far and will be looking sig off in style. He has not been in the best shape physically, but is a constant danger on the wings.
Arsene Wenger will be keen for his team to continue their momentum and push to enhance their chances of qualifying for Europe. Something he has been able to achieve consistently for over a decade.
There are no new injury concerns for Wenger and his boys, while Fulham may miss out on Damien Duff due to an injury he suffered to his thigh and hip.
Prediction: Fulham 0-1 Arsenal
