Fernando Gago’s reported €3,5 million move from Real Madrid to Valencia has been confirmed by Los Che.
The 26-year-old midfielder has agreed personal terms with the Valencia-based club who finished third in La Liga last term.
The Argentine had joined Real from Boca Juniors in 2007 for a reported fee of €20 million but has fallen out of favour in recent times following the arrival of players like Mesut Ozil, Sami Khedira and Xabi Alonso.
Gago made 31 appearances last term on loan as AS Roma in Italy’s Serie A but will return to Spain to play for Mauricio Pellegrino’s side.
