England boss Roy Hodgson has named his final 23-man squad for the 2012 European Championships with Danny Welbeck and Glen Johnson passed fit to play at the event.

England boss Roy Hodgson has named his final 23-man squad for the 2012 European Championships with Danny Welbeck and Glen Johnson passed fit to play at the event.

The Manchester United striker and the Liverpool full-back earned their place while Adam Johnson and Jordan Henderson miss out.

Hodgson also confirmed that Phil Jagielka will replace the injured Gareth Barry, while Birmingham’s Jack Butland steps in for Norwich keeper John Ruddy.

The Three Lions are in Group D alongside France, Sweden and co-hosts Ukraine.
