Free Agent Earl Watson will be playing with the Indiana Pacers next season after the guard signed a multi-season contract with the franchise. Watson, a veteran of the NBA, was waived off by the Oklahoma City Thunder earlier in the month. >
Watson had played with the Seattle Supersonics, the Memphis Grizzlies and the Denver Nuggets before joining the Thunder for his eight seasons in the NBA.
Watson will add to some depth to a team that has already lost Jarrett Jack to free agency this season. Marquis Daniels is also quite likely to move out before next season. Toronto had given an offer of $20 million for Jarret Jack and the Pacers decided not to match it. Daniels, on the other hand, might be heading to Boston instead.
Meanwhile Watson will be bringing his 7.3 points per game average to the Pacers, along with a 4.6 assists per game average.
The details of his deal have not been made public by the club till now.
