• NBA (The National Basketball Association was founded in 1946.)

• NCAA Basketball (The IAAUS was established in 1906, and took its present name NCAA in 1910 and in 1921, the first NCAA championship was held - the National Collegiate Track and Field Championships. The NCAA Basketball championship was played in 1939 - Oregon was the winner.)
