Smith Rowe scored the only goal of the match in the 16th minute when teammate and striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang teed him up after Chelsea midfielder Jorginho had misjudged a back-pass.
The 20-year-old English attacking midfielder has taken to Twitter to revel in Arsenal’s win against Chelsea in the London derby.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Stamford Bridge in London on Wednesday evening, hosts Chelsea had 68% of the possession, took 19 shots of which five were on target, and earned nine corners.
Visitors Arsenal had 32% of the possession, took five shots of which two were on target, and earned one corner.
The result means that Chelsea are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment with 64 points from 36 matches.
As for Arsenal, the Gunners are eighth in the standings with 55 points from 36 games.
