The Brooklyn Nets’ Big Three James Harden, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving made a debut at the NBA playoff on Saturday.
While these phenomena excite many NBA fans, this debut only lasted for 43 seconds.
In less than 1 minute of Game 1, James Harden felt a painful injury on his hamstring. This incident was first seen when he was grabbing his hamstring during Brooklyn’s first basket possession against Milwaukee Bucks. The Nets immediately called for a timeout, and Harden went to the locker room.
During this season, Harden had already missed 20 games because of his hamstring problems, including his team’s losses against the Bucks in May. However, during the playoff, he confirmed that he is healthy enough to play at the NBA Playoffs and reunite with Durant and Irving.
During the mid-second quarter, Malika Andrews posted on her Twitter account that Harden had already left the venue and will not return to Game 1, so he can undergo an MRI, as required by his team. Updates of his comeback to the court will soon be announced.
Harden has an average record of 24.6 points, 8.5 assists, and 10.9 rebounds in 36 regular seasons after he was acquired by the Houston Rockets. During their match with the Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets will proceed to the next round after their heated Game 5 match. Harden was able to average 27.8 points, 7.2 assists, and 10.6 points with 55.6% shooting.
