When Kevin Durant steps in the court, the meek guy that he is would become a monster on the court. It’s unarguable that he is one of the greatest scorers of all time.
After his missed basketball games due to a torn Achilles he endured in the 2019 NBA Finals, things just didn’t go as he planned. Because of the injury, he missed 37 games of action and his overall health was left hanging if he’ll proceed into the postseason.
The 32-year-old star player returned to play for Brooklyn Nets in Game 4, and there’s the only thing that is clear to all: he is undisputedly the most unguardable player in NBA.
Despite his surgical injury, he still led the Brooklyn Nets in a victory against the Boston Celtics with a record of 3-1 lead in the series. Boston tried to outsmart Durant, however, Durant’s gameplay is too advanced to handle. With a height of nearly 7 feet, it’s easy for him to choose the right spots where to shoot the ball or how he can shoot accurately over the top of his opponent.
He was smothered by a couple of Celtics player, such as Jabari Parker and Tristan Thompson, who tried to stop him, yet in the end, he still got it.
Durant has a current score of 34.8 points per game, while his shooting percentage is 55.6% from the field and 90.7 from the free-throw line. Even so, this doesn’t cause him to sweat. He is currently the third player to have the greatest score per game, next to Allen Iverson and Michael Jordan.
