Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray have both won their opening matches at the ATP Tour Finals in London.
Djokovic got past Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 7-6 6-3 while Murray was too good for Tomas Berdych 3-6 6-3 6-4.
“It’s a pleasure to play here once again. I was really looking forward to it because we always enjoy the atmosphere,” Djokovic said.
“It’s the last tournament of the year so we both wanted to win. It means a lot. Especially here, there are no easy matches and no favourites.
“You just want to do your best and give the crowd something to cheer about.”
Meanwhile, Murray’s triumph was his first on British soil since his US Open triumph.
In Tuesday’s games, world number one Roger Federer takes on Serbia’s Janko Tipsarevic, while David Ferrer and Juan Martin del Potro also meet.

shogold10i pray for sun and rain at sw19 this this will make the courts under soil soft thus the buncoes low if its like last year all sun no rain the under soil stays hard meain high bouncing slower court which will negate the net rushing drop-shoting federer so fedite pray for rain and sunshine i dont fancy frd for rg but im feeling gd about sw19 and new york cos thats where his aggresive style won't have to many disadvantages as those surfaces (sw19 and new york) reward attacking players
