Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray all moved into the third round of the Shanghai Rolex Masters on Wednesday.
World number one Federer recorded a 6-3, 7-5 win over Lu Yen-Hsun, moving him into the next round where he’ll face compatriot Stanislas Wawrinka.
Elsewhere, Djokovic continued to work on his serve as he brushed aside Grigor Dimitrov 6-3, 6-2 in less than an hour.
“Very pleased with my serving in Beijing and obviously the first match today so that’s something that I’ve been working on,” Djokovic said.
Meanwhile, Murray didn’t need to take to the court as his opponent Florian Mayer withdrew with a rib injury.
“I’ll practise again. I mean, you never know whether it’s a good or a bad thing. I mean, you’re obviously prepared to play the match,” Murray said.
