Manchester City will be looking to get back to winning ways after drawing against Queen Park Ranger. Owing to the midweek draw they once again have fallen seven points behind league leaders Manchester United.

Liverpool has also had a bad run thus far will look to start this month with a win to propel their chances for champion’s league qualification. After their draw in the last game they will look to get all three points.

Liverpool has been very good in ball possession this season with 69% of long passes reaching their intended target. The new passing style of playing seems to be working for the Reds.

Liverpool’s new signing Philippe Coutinho may make his first appearance in a Liverpool shirt in this important game. On the other hand this will be City’s first game after bad boy Mario Balotelli left the club and moved to Italian giants AC Milan.

City will miss club Captain Vincent Kompany and Micah Richards due to injury. The Toure brothers Yaya Toure and Kolo Toure are out on international duty and will miss this game too.

Luis Suarez has announced that he will stay at Liverpool no matter where they finish in the table bringing loads of relief to the fans. He is the second highest goal scorer this season having netted 22 times already.

Liverpool will have a fully fit squad for this game. Pepe Renia will continue in goal after making a comeback in the previous game.
