Zlatan Ibrahimovic has officially joined Paris Saint-Germain from AC Milan according to PSG sporting director Leonardo.
The former Milan midfielder confirmed the deal on Tuesday to La Gazzetta dello Sport after negotiations between the two parties about the proposed move headed towards an expected conclusion.
“We have reached an agreement, the deal is done,” Leonardo said.
“Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a PSG player, he can write our history.”
Ibrahimovic joins Thiago Silva and Ezequiel Lavezzi as new arrivals in Paris, while the 2011-12 Ligue 1 runners-up also boasts the likes of Javier Pastore, Jeremy Menez, Thiago Motta, Kevin Gameiro and Mohammed Sissoko.
Leonardo added: “This is a big year for PSG. That a player of his calibre has come to Paris, it’s enormous. This is a player who could change everything.”
PSG, who will compete in the 2012-13 Uefa Champions League, are also expected to unveil Pescara talent Marco Verratti this week.
