Ezequiel Ivan Lavezzi is an Argentine football player who currently features for French giants Paris Saint-Germain. He plays as a striker and is one of the best players in the world.
Lavezzi developed at the famous youth academy of Boca Juniors and made his professional debut for Estudientes in 2003. In 2004 he was signed by Italian side Genoa but played the 2004-2005 season on loan at Argentine side San Lorenzo, who signed him on a permanent contract in 2005.
Lavezzi went on to score 16 goals in 55 league matches for San Lorenzo between 2005 and 2007. He won the Clausura in 2007 with San Lorenzo.
Lavezzi and was signed by Napoli in 2007 on a five-year contract. He was immediately drafted into the first team at Napoli and In the beginning of the 2007-08 season he scored the first hat-trick in 14 years for Napoli against Pisa in the Coppa Italia. He then went to become a very vital player for Napoli and was hailed as the new Messiah for the Naples side.
In the summer of 2012 Paris Saint-Germain signed Lavezzi from Napoli for a reported €30 million.
Lavezzi made his international debut for Argentina against Chile on April 2007 and played for his nation at the 2008 Olympics.
