Cameroonian international striker Samuel Eto’o is willing to move to Italian champions Inter Milan this summer only if he is paid 10 million euros per season as wage, according to reports.
Spanish sports daily AS reports that Eto’o wants as much as 10 million euros per season if Inter Milan want him to play for them next season. A swap deal between Spanish and European champions FC Barcelona and Italian powerhouse Inter Milan invoiving Samuel Eto’o and Zlatan Ibrahimovic is said to be in place with Barcelona offering 40 million euros as cash and Aliaksandr Hleb on loan for one season to Inter as well.
Reports, though, suggest that things could get complicated, especially from Eto’o’s end. The 28-year-old wants a compensation package of 25 million euros from Barcelona for leaving them as reported by Sky Sport Italia and, as now reported by AS, also wants a healthy pay package from Inter Milan.
It appears that the entire transfer saga hinges on Eto’o, who has already been told by Barcelona coach Josep Guardiola that he is not needed anymore at Camp Nou.
