According to the British broadsheet The Telegraph, Real Madrid president-elect Florentino Perez would be eager to sign the Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso in the summer. The 27-year old Spanish international midfielder has been in great form this season.

It has also been reported that Perez would sign the Arsenal star Cesc Fabregas and pair the two midfielders together.
