David Liffiton

David Liffiton is a Canadian defenseman in the Colorado Avalanche organization.

Liffiton was drafted by the Colorado Avalanche in 2003, after posting 139 penalty minutes with the Plymouth Whalers in the OHL. He spent the next four years in the minors before making his NHL debut with the New York Rangers in 2006. He had 13 points and 189 penalty minutes in 2006-07 with the Hartford Wolf Pack, and played 2 more games with the Rangers that season. He signed with the Avalanche in 2010 after spending some time in both the AHL and the Danish leagues.
