Triston Grant
Triston Grant is a Canadian left winger in the Florida Panthers’ prganization.
Grant was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in 2004, after putting up 467 penalty minutes in two seasons with the Vancouver Giants. He was called up to the AHL in 2005, and put up 389 penalty minutes in two years with the Philadelphia Phantoms before being called up to the Flyers in 2007.He recorded 10 penalty minutes and 1 assist in 8 NHL games before being sent back to the minors. He spent the next three seasons in the AHL, and finally broke the 200 penalty minute mark in the AHL with the Milwaukee Admirals in 2009-10, when he scored 12 goals, 25 points and 236 penalty minutes. He was called up for 3 games with the Nashville Predators in 2010, and had 9 penalty minutes with the club. He will compete for a spot as the Panthers’ enforcer in 2010.
