Sergei Shirokov
Sergei Shirokov is a Russian left winger in the Vancouver Canucks’ organization.
Shirokov was drafted by the Canucks in 2006, after scoring 14 points in his first season of play in the senior Russian League with CSKA Moscow. He spent three more years in Russia, scoring 41 points in 2008-09. He joined the Canucks in 2009, but played only 6 games before being sent to the AHL. He scored 22 goals and 45 points for the Manitoba Moose, and will have another shot at the Canucks’ lineup in 2010-11.
