Brian Fahey

Brian Fahey is an American defenseman on the Washington Capitals.

Fahey was drafted by the Colorado Avalanche in 2000, after scoring 17 points in his freshman year at the University of Wisconsin. He finished his collegiate career at Wisconsin before spending the next 7 seasons in the AHL and ECHL with a number of different teams. he had a great year in 2007-08, scoring 37 points and registering 123 penalty minutes. He signed with the Capitals during the 2010 offseason, but will probably end up playing in Hershey at the AHL level again.

Fahey played for Team USA at the 1999 World Juniors.
