Jonas Junland

Jonas Junland is a Swedish defenseman on the St. Louis Blues.

Junland was drafted by the Blues in 2006, after scoring 40 points in 32 games for Linkopings junior club in Sweden. He spent the next two seasons in Sweden before joining the Blues’ AHL team in Peoria. He put up 31 points in his first season with the club, and was called up for his first NHL game in 2008. He played most of the next season in the AHL, where he was named an All-Star.
