Ivan Vishnevskiy
Ivan Vishnevskiy is a Russian defenseman on the Chicago Blackhawks.
Vishnevskiy was drafted 27th overall in 2006 by the Dallas Stars, after posting 48 points and 57 penalty minutes in the QMJHL. He played 2 more years in the Q before jumping to the AHL. HE played 5 NHL games with the Stars, recording 2 assists and scoring one goal on his own net. He was traded to Atlanta in 2010, but was then traded to Chicago at the start of the free agent signing period that summer. He led the Texas Stars' defensemen in goals with 8 during the 2009-10 season before he was traded, and he scored 2 more with the Thrashers' AHL team in Chicago.
