Niklas Arell is a Swedish defenseman on Malmo.
Arell is just getting his first tastes of senior hockey, as he is one of the youngest players on the Redhawks. He joined the team’s junior club in 2008-09, scoring 22 points in 40 games in the SuperElit. He put up 12 points in 26 games of junior hockey this year, and was called up to the Allsvenskan midseason.
