Peter Oberg
Peter Oberg is a Swedish forward on Vasteras IK.
Oberg began his career with Modo's junior club in 1999. He was impressive in his debut, scoring 14 goals and 27 points that year. He matched that total the following year, but was unable to duplicate his success at the senior level. He played 7 years with Modo. He set a career high with 68 penalty minutes in 2001-02, and had 6 goals and 18 points in 2006-07, but has failed to live up to expectations as an offensive star. In 2007, he won an Elitserien championship with Modo. He spent part of 2008-09 in Russia and Finland, but joined Vasteras in the Allsvenskan in 2009. He scored 10 points in 8 games, and remained with the team for the 2009-10 season.
Oberg played for Sweden at the 2002 World Juniors.
