Stefan Hellkvist is a Swedish left winger on Vasteras IK.
Hellkvist is one of the oldest and most experienced players on Vasteras, making his Swedish professional debut in 1987, while Vasteras was still in Division 1. He played the next 7 years with Vasteras in the Elitserien, and had a number of solid offensive seasons, breaking 30 points for the first time in 1994-95. He joined Leksand the next season, and played four years with the club, setting a new career high with 20 goals and 43 points in 1998-99. He spent 2000-01 with AIK, before returning to Leksand in the Allsvenskan. He led the league in scoring that season, finishing with 35 goals and 51 points. He played a year in Germany with Hannover before returning to the Elitserien with HV71. He won the league championship with the club in 2004, and spent the next two seasons playing in Switzerland and Italy. In 2007, he returned to his first professional team, joining Vasteras and scoring 37 points in his return to the Allsvenskan.
