Fredrik Johansson

Fredrik Johansson is a Swedish center on Vasteras IK.

Johansson was drafted in 2002 by the Edmonton Oilers, after his first full season in the SuperElit. He scored 13 goals and 36 points that year, and scored 12 points in 27 games for Sweden's U18 team as well. The following season, he improved on those numbers, scoring 47 points, again for Frolunda. In 2003-04, he played his first full season in the Elitserien, but scored only 4 points, and was transferred to Vasteras in the Allsvenskan. He played two years in Vasteras, scoring 52 points before returning for another shot at the Elitserien in 2006. He spent 2007-08 in the AHL and ECHL with the Springfield Falcons and the Stockton Thunder, but returned to Sweden in 2008. He scored 25 points in his first season back in the Allsvenskan.

Johansson played for Sweden at the 2004 World Juniors.
