Jonas Johansson

Jonas Johansson is a Swedish right winger on Vasteras IK.

Johansson was drafted in the first round of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft by the Colorado Avalanche. He had scored 15 goals and 34 points in the SuperElit for HV71's junior team in 2001-02, earning him his shot at the NHL. He played two years with the Kamloops Blazers, scoring 72 points during his stay in the WHL. He spent the next year in the AHL, and was called up to the NHL with the Washington Capitals in 2005, playing in one NHL game before returning to the Hershey Bears in AHL. He didn't score in that game, but he managed to get on the scoresheet with a minor penalty. He played another year with Hershey before returning to Sweden in 2007. He played two seasons in the Elitserien with HV71, and joined Vasteras in 2009.
