Marcus Soderkvist

Marcus Soderkvist is a Swedish forward on Vasteras IK.

Soderkvist has played his entire career in the Vasteras system, joining the team’s junior club in 1999. He is a very useful role player, having played both defense and forward in his time with the club, and is known for his great work ethic. In 2001-02, he had 10 goals and 26 points, along with 52 penalty minutes, in what his best statistical season, although the club was still in Division 1 at that point. He has played the last 8 years in the Allsvenskan with Vasteras, setting a new career high with 64 penalty minutes in 2007-08.
