Jonas Leetma

Jonas Leetma is a Swedish defenseman on Vasteras IK.

Leetma began his Swedish career with Frolunda's junior club, scoring 10 points in 24 games during the '99-00 season. He made his senior debut in 2002, appearing in 33 games for the club in the Elitserien. he played another season with Frolunda before joining Vasteras in 2004. In his final season with Frolunda, he won the Elitserien title, adding to his list of league championships, since he won four junior titles with Frolunda. He has had some of the better seasons of his career with Vasteras, setting a career high with 59 penalty minutes in 2005-06, and scoring 21 points in 2007-08. A very well-rounded defenseman, Leetma has demonstrated that he can contribute at both ends of the ice.
