Andreas Lindh

Andreas Lindh is a Swedish defenseman on Vasteras IK.

Another homegrown defender on the Vasteras blueline, Lind has played most of his senior career in the same city he grew up in, starting in 1995, when he made his Elitserien debut with the club. he would spend four seasons with Sodertalje in Division 1, Allsvenskan and the Elitserien, as well as an additional year with Hammarby before returning to Vasteras in 2003. In his first season with the club, he brought a dramatic increase in physical presence, recording a career high 144 penalty minutes. In 2006-07, he had the best statistical season of his career, scoring 15 points to go with his 124 penalty minutes. While he's not much of a contributor on offense, his physical presence and solid defensive play make him a valuable asset to his team.
