Alexander Ribbenstrand

Alexander Ribbenstrand is a Swedish defenseman on Vasteras.

Ribbenstrand played junior hockey with AIK and Djurgarden before making his senior debut with Djurgarden in 2005. A tough, physical defenseman, Ribbenstrand racked up 73 penalty minutes and 4 points in his first season in the Elitserien, earning another year in Sweden's top league. In 2007, he was traded to Almtuna, where he played two seasons in the Allsvenskan, recording 19 points and 229 penalty minutes in 88 games. In 2009, he joined Vasteras, where had another good season, scoring 10 points and 91 penalty minutes.
