Jonas Almtorp

Jonas Almtorp is a Swedish center on Sodertalje SK.

Almtorp was drafted by Edmonton in 2002, after having a breakout season in the Swedish junior leagues with MODO, scoring 46 points and 106 penalty minutes. He played parts of the next two years with MODO's senior club before spending most of the 2004-05 season in the Allsvenskan with Almtuna. He joined Brynas near the end of the year and was called up to the Elitserien. he spent 2007-08 playing in North America before returning to the Elitserien with Lulea. He is having the best Elitserien season of his career with Sodertalje in 2009-10, with 28 points in 46 games.

Almtorp played for Sweden at the 2003 World Juniors.
