Daniel Josefsson

Daniel Josefsson is a Swedish defenseman on Sodertalje SK.

Josefsson began his career with HV71 in 1999, playing most of the season in the SuperElit league where he recorded 23 points and 53 penalty minutes. He was called up to the Elitserien for part of the next season, and played his first full season in the Elitserien in 2001-02. In 2002-03, he played with Rogle in the Allsvenskan, he scored 10 goals and 20 points. He played the next four seasons in the Allsvenskan, 3 with Rogle, joining Sodertalje in 2006-07 and recording a career high 18 assists and 24 penalty minutes. He helped the club earn a promotion to the Elitserien that season and has remained with the club since.

Josefsson played with the Swedish junior national team at the 2001 World Juniors.
