Fredrik Svensson is a Swedish defenseman on Sodertalje SK.
Svensson has been playing in Swedish professional hockey leagues for most of the last 16 seasons, since 1993 when he joined Hammarby. He played 5 years with the club before making his Elitserien debut with Malmo. He returned to Division 1 with Skelleftea in 1998, but was called back up to the Elitserien for good in ‘99 with Lulea. He played four years with Lulea, helping the club make the playoffs each season. He spent the next two years with Leksands IF, recording a career high 111 penalty minutes in 2003-04. He then played two years in Switzerland, half a season in Finland with HPK and two full years in Germany in the DEL. He returned to the Elitserien in 2009 with Sodertalje.
