Pavel Skrbek
Pavel Skrbek is a Czech defenseman on Skelleftea AIK.
Skrbek was drafted in 1996 by the Pittsburgh Penguins, after playing his first season with HC Kladno in the Czech Extraliga. He played two more years in the Czech Republic, scoring 14 points and 134 penalty minutes in ’97-98. He played 4 games for the Penguins in 1998, but spent most of the next three seasons in the AHL, aside from 8 games with the Nashville Predators. In 2002, he made his Elitserien debut with Lulea, where he played two seasons before joining Mora IK in 2004. He returned to Lulea in 2005, and set a career high with 19 points in ’06-07. He began 2008 with HC Kladno, but returned to Sweden when he signed with Skelleftea.
