Ivan Majesky is a Slovakian defenseman on Skelleftea AIK.
Majesky was drafted by the Florida Panthers in 2001, after scoring 16 points and 99 penalty minutes in his first season with Ilves in the SM-liiga. He had spent the previous three seasons playing in the Slovakian professional leagues. He spent another season with Ilves before coming to the NHL. He scored 12 points and recorded 92 penalty minutes in his rookie season, while appearing in all 82 games. He spent the next season with the Atlanta Thrashers, scoring 10 points in 63 games. During the lockout, he played with HC Sparta Praha, and returned to the NHL with Washington in 2005. In 2006, he joined Linkoping in the Elitserien, splitting the next three seasons between Linkoping and stints with Karpat and HIFK in the Finnish SM-liiga. After beginning the 2009-10 season in the Czech Extraliga, he signed with Skelleftea.
Majesky played for Slovakia at the 2004 and 2006 Olympics, and the 2005 and 2008 World Championships.
