Jens Westin

Jens Westin is a Swedish defenseman on Modo Hockey.

Westin joined Modo’s junior hockey as soon as he finished playing youth hockey in 2006. Over the next three seasons, he made a name for himself as a solid positional defenseman, and was called up to the senior team in the Elitserien after only one full season in juniors. He played 33 games for Modo in 2007-08, recording 3 points and 16 penalty minutes. Westin is not recognized as an offensive threat, but is known for being a solid defender capable of quickly moving the puck out of his own end.
