Jan Sandstrom

Jan Sandstrom is a Swedish defenseman on Lulea HF.

Sandstrom was drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in 1999 after completing his second season in the Elitserien with AIK Solna. He has never played in the NHL, having spent the last 13 seasons in the Elitserien. He played two more years with Solna after being drafted, and joined Lulea in 2001. He had the two best seasons of his career in ’05-06 and ’06-07. In both seasons, he scored a career high 22 points, while recording 112 penalty minutes over the span of 100 games. Previous to 2005, he had scored over 10 points only once in his career.
