Daniel Fernholm is a Swedish defenseman on Dynamo Minsk.
Fernholm was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2002, after scoring 17 points for Djurgardens junior team. He joined Djurgardens’ pro team in 2003, spending two seasons with the team, scoring a total of 16 points in 68 games. He came to the AHL in 2005, playing with the Pens’ minor league teams. He returned to Djurgardens in 2006, where he scored 16 points in 32 games. He joined Linkopings in 2007, and scored 29 points in his first full Elitserien season. He played three years with Linkopings before joining Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk in 2010. He was traded to Dynamo Minsk midway through the 2010-11 season.
