Tony Martensson is a Swedish center on Linkopings HC.

Martensson was drafted by Anaheim in 2001, after scoring 26 points for Brynas IF in his first season of pro hockey. He scored 26 points the following season, as well, and decided to make the jump to North American hockey. He was unable to play successfully in the NHL, appearing in only 6 games for the Ducks. He spent the ’02-03 and ’03-04 seasons in the AHL, where he scored 50+ points in both years. In his six NHL games, he scored 1 goal and recorded 1 assist. Upon his return to the Elitserien, he signed with Linkopings, where he was one of the more offensively gifted players. He scored 54 points in 2006-07, followed by a 67 point season the next year. In 2008, he won the league scoring title, and led the league with 50 assists. He spent 2008-09 in Russia, winning the league championship with Ak Bars Kazan. He returned to Linkopings in 2009.

Martensson played for Team Sweden at the last four World Championships, as well as the 2000 World Juniors.
