Carl Gunnarsson is a Swedish defenseman on the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Gunnarsson was drafted by the Leafs in 2007, but spent the next two seasons playing for Linkopings HC in Sweden. He scored 16 points in 2008-09, and made his NHL debut in 2009. He started the season in the AHL, but was called up early in the season, and recorded his first NHL point in his second career game.
