Jay Rosehill
Jay Rosehill is a Canadian winger on the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Rosehill was drafted in 2003 by the Tampa Bay Lightning. He played a year of college hockey at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, where he recorded 103 penalty minutes in 34 games. He spent the next three seasons in the AHL and the ECHL, mostly with the Springfield Falcons and the Johnstown Chiefs. In 2008-09, he recorded 221 penalty minutes in 57 games for the Norfolk Admirals in the AHL, and another 54 minutes with the Toronto Marlies. Based on his history of fighting and physical play, he was kept on the Leafs’ starting roster for the 2009-10 season.
