Mathieu Perreault is a Canadian center on the Washington Capitals.

Perreault was drafted by the Capitals in 2006, and went on to have a stand out minor league career, scoring 119 points and 114 points in his final two seasons in the QMJHL. In 2008, he was called up to the Hershey Bears in the AHL, where he scored 50 points. In 2009, Perreault got his first taste of NHL action, getting called up after Alexander Ovechkin was injured. He played remarkably well in his debut, scoring 6 points in his first 10 games, making it difficult for the Capitals to re-assign him to the AHL.
