Artem Anisimov

Artem Anisimov is a Russian center on the New York Rangers.

Anisimov was drafted by the Rangers in 2006, after playing his first season with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in the Russian SuperLeague. He spent another season in Russia before joining the Hartford Wolf Pack in the AHL. In 2008-09, Anisimov had a great season, scoring 37 goals and 81 points, also appearing in a single game for the Rangers. Anisimov made the Rangers’ permanent roster in 2009, scoring his first NHL goal 6 games into the season against Anaheim.

Anisimov won a silver medal with Russia at the 2007 World Juniors.
