Brad May
Brad May is a Canadian winger on the Detroit Red Wings.
May was drafted 14th overall in 1990 by the Buffalo Sabres, after scoring 91 points and recording 223 penalty minutes in the OHL. He joined the Sabres in 1991, spending six and a half seasons with Buffalo. In his rookie year, he recorded a career high 309 penalty minutes. He was traded to Vancouver in 1998, and spent three years with the Canucks, before being signed by the Phoenix Coyotes in 2000. He would have the two most productive seasons of his career in Phoenix, scoring 25 points in 2000-01 and 22 in 2001-02. In 2003, he returned to Vancouver, where he played until 2004. After the lockout, he signed with Colorado, where he spent two years before being traded to Anaheim. He won his first Stanley Cup with the Ducks in 2007, and spent three years with the Ducks before being traded to Toronto in 2008. He played 38 games with the Leafs, and was signed by Detroit in the 2009 offseason.
