Brian Sutherby

Brian Sutherby is a Canadian center on the Dallas Stars.

Sutherby was drafted in the first round of the 2000 draft by the Washington Capitals. He made his NHL debut in 2001, appearing in 7 games. He played in 72 games the following year, scoring 11 points and recording 93 penalty minutes. He appeared in only 30 games the next season, but came back for a strong season in 2005-06, scoring 14 goals and 30 points, while posting 73 penalty minutes. He was traded to Anaheim in 2007, where he finished the 2007-08 season. He was traded to Dallas midway through the 2008-09 season, playing 42 games and recording 9 points.
