Matt Hendricks is an American center on the Colorado Avalanche.

Hendricks was drafted by the Nashville Predators in 2000, and went on to play four seasons at St. Cloud State. After completing his college career, he spent a season in the ECHL, where he scored 50 points with the Florida Everblades. He then played the next 5 seasons in the AHL, with a number of different teams. His best season was in 2007-08, with the Providence Bruins, where he scored 52 points and recorded 121 penalty minutes. In 2009, he made his NHL debut with the Colorado Avalanche, appearing in 4 games. He made the Avs roster out of training camp in 2009-10, scoring his first NHL goal in the 4th game of the season.
