Jay Harrison

Jay Harrison is a Canadian defenseman on the Carolina Hurricanes.

Harrison was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2001, while playing for the Brampton Battalion in the OHL. He spent another season in the OHL, scoring 43 points and recording 116 penalty minutes before making his way up to the AHL. He joined the Leafs in 2006, where he appeared in a total of 20 games over the next 3 seasons, scoring 2 points, spending most of his time in the AHL with the Marlies. In 2009, he signed with Carolina Hurricanes, where he scored his first NHL goal.
