Nicholas Torp

Nicholas Torp is a Swedish defenseman on HV71.

Torp was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in 2007, but has not yet played in North America. He is a very physical player, and has made that a part of his game since joining HV71’s junior team in 2004. He played his first full season in the Elitserien in 2008-09, recording 2 points and 43 penalty minutes, and appeared in all 12 playoff games.

Torp played for Sweden at the 2009 World Juniors, winning a silver medal.
