Martin Thornberg

Martin Thornberg is a Swedish winger on HV71.

Thornberg has played with HV71 since 2002, when he first broke into the league. He recorded 71 penalty minutes and 11 points in his first full season, 2003-04, and split the next season between the Elitserien and the Allsvenskan. In 2006-07, he broke the 25-point plateau for the first time. In 2008-09, he set career highs with 27 goals and 38 points, as well as 88 penalty minutes, while helping HV71 reach the league finals. He won his first league championship the previous year in 2008.
